Skill Matching Assistance and Reporting Tool (SMART)

SMART is a KA2 Erasmus + project aimed at developing an online system to match the skills of young people with skill requirements for jobs and apprenticeships. The online system increased the chances of young people with fewer qualifications, while at the same time offering a way of validating informal skills and making them count. Using scientific testing the system would not rely on self-evaluation (which is never a good idea when applicants have the intention of getting a job with the submitted information).

The objective of SMART was to particularly help young people with low qualifications or disadvantages to find employment and to leave the transitional period of finding a job. For this purpose, SMART provided a complex matching mechanism that can bring young people looking for employment and employers together.
