Acts of Young People, Key Action 3 (Support for policy reform- Structured Dialogue)
Call for 4 Cypriot participants, aged between 18-30 years old
The project ‘’Acts of Young People’’ is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU under Key Action 3 (Support for policy reform- Structured Dialogue) and it is led by Youth for Exchange and Understanding (YEU) Cyprus.
The aim of this project is to to foster active citizenship and encourage civic participation at local, national and EU level. Especially, the project aims to embolden and inspire young people in their ability to participate actively in society in line with the provisions of the Lisbon Treaty; and to stimulate the development of participatory democracy of young people.
The activities foreseen in this project have two phases: The first part includes consultations with young people in the form of questionnaires.
The second part is designed to reach in deep results on the issue through a conference (25-29 April 2017) between 54 young people from 17 European countries, during which decision-makers and youth experts will be invited to talk about the theme of participation in democratic life.
