Would you like to volunteer in the field of social sustainability, youth unemployment, and active citizenship?
Join the European Solidarity Corps and become part of the Brežice Youth Center team starting from January 2023 for 9 months!
The Project:
In this project, you will participate in the brainstorming and development of creative activities that will promote social sustainability and active citizenship.
You will engage with the local community and create actions for addressing social issues, as these are described by the ESC values.
You will have the unique opportunity to meet other volunteers from all over Europe.
Project Goals:
During your mission (30 h/week), you would:
- inform local community about activities in YC,
- develop and disseminate youth documentation (guides and brochures) and educational tools (exhibitions, games, information monitoring tools and other additional resources),
- organize group activities, international evenings, camps and educational activities (animation targeted on a theme according to the needs of the public),
- create fun activities for young people, help the staff to organise activities for young people, parents, etc.,
- inform and raise awareness of volunteering programmes, international mobility and interculturality, promote ESC programs,
- be involved in multimedia activities: designing posters, taking photos, recording podcasts, etc.,
- have free time to develop any kind of project that you want.
Your Characteristics:
- Are you between 18 and 30 years old?
- Are you motivated and interested in social entrepreneurship, project management, education and sustainable development?
- An EU citizen?
- Previous experience or training to become a volunteer and carry on your activities is not mandatory, but previous experience in non-formal education is considered to be an advantage.
- Are you flexible in working environments and open-minded?
- Are you a teamworker?

Further Information:
- Accommodation provided.
- Food allowance and pocket money provided (approx 300 Euros).
- A total package of travelling will be reimbursed (Up to 320 Euros, arrival/return)
