We are happy to announce that we are opening a call for a pool of volunteer mentors to guide our volunteers for the upcoming European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project!
Our new ESC volunteering project `Learning League: Learning to Learn and Other Superpowers’ will focus on non-formal education, youth empowerment and educational opportunities for all. The project will run between June 2024 and June 2025. As part of the project, six international volunteers between the ages of 18-30 will be staying in Cyprus for a duration of 12 months. As part of the project, volunteers are provided with mentorship with the goal of providing support for their adjustment to the local context.
The role:
- To be open to cooperate with people of different backgrounds, cultures and personalities
- To be able to communicate well in English
- To be willing and motivated to provide support to young volunteers
- To be able to meet with the assigned volunteer on a frequency based on the needs of the volunteer and agreed on by both the mentor and the volunteer
- To have knowledge and understanding of the local context
