The photography exhibition “Living without Unwellness” was a hit! The exhibition was organized in scope of the ESC “Green-it Up” project in collaboration with Aigaia School of Art and Design and presented the work of photographer Omar García. The exhibition explored the research and his mother’s personal experience in the hands of healers from the Santa Ana Valley, Mexico, during her grieving process.

The exhibition opened with a presentation of the artist and continued between 26-29 March 2024.

We got creative at the Seed Paper Workshop at UCY!

The workshop was organized in scope of Green-It Up project and focused on a new way to plant seeds. The event gathered a bunch of young people, mostly University students, who made their own Seed Paper ready for planting! A huge shout out to everyone who participated in the workshop and to our friends from the Green Club, our collaborators for this event and who supported us throughout!

A panel discussion entitled “Sensability: Sustainability and Sensuality” on the intersection of gender, environment, education and sexual health was organized as part of the Green-it Up project in collaboration with CY Checkpoint.

Myrto Skouroupathi, Christos Krasidis, Umran Avni and Salomé Darrigrand shared their experiences of working in such fields and the intersections among the topics above. The presentations were followed by an informal discusion among participants.A huge thanks to our speakers and to everyone who participated!

This month we got many opportunities to engage with all of you and discuss what we are all about!

Introducting… Pantelis Kiriakides!

Pan rocked his way through a BSc in Geophysics and snagged an MSc in Environmental Technology, levelling up his eco-warrior skills. His game-changer moment came with a Youth Exchange via YEU, sparking a love affair with Erasmus+ projects that’s nothing short of legendary. Back in Cyprus, he hopped on board the YEU train, fueled by a mission to inject a mega dose of green into the very projects that let him dive deep into diverse cultures and practices. This wasn’t just about globetrotting; it was Pan’s journey to personal growth, all while aiming to leave the planet a bit greener.
