Project Description

FARM 4 Youth project is a youth exchange implemented under the Erasmus + programs. The project involves meeting 36 young people aged 16-30 (5 participants, 1 group leader / minor carer) from 6 countries (Poland, Slovakia, Czechia, Spain, Greece, Cyprus) in Krakow, Poland.

The goal of the project is to raise awareness of sustainable and social design options, how this applies to growing local food, create empowered citizens that have access to urban farming opportunities, foster cross-cultural
interdisciplinary alliance collaborating for human, social, and natural investment. Methods used in the project: non-formal education, energizers, workshops with the artist, visual art,
painting, design.

Participants' profile

We are currently looking for:

5 youth +1 youth leader (6 in total)

Young people and youth leaders interested in:

  • sustainability
  • development,
  • green art,
  • urban farming,
  • experiential non-formal education.

We will start from the very basic level. The project is designed for the beginners in sustainability or interested in this area without previous knowledge and experiences, we will also welcome new volunteers from partner organisations. Participants should have the communicative level of English. The minimum age we require is 18, there is no maximal age limit. Please, try to keep the gender balance in national groups.

  • AN EXPERIENTIAL PROGRAM GROUP WORK IN EXPERIENTIAL AND NON-FORMAL PEDAGOGY
  • EXPERIENTIAL GAMES, THE CREATION OF OWN PROGRAMS, EXCURSIONS ETC.

Travel, accommodation and food

All money related to travel will be reimbursed.

Accommodation will be in Poland, Krakow, on a farm. Both the accommodation and the food will be provided and covered by the program.
