The project aims in the short-term period to create new practice and direction in organizing of free time activities in one of Zagreb’s neighborhoods (Savica), through intercultural and intergenerational solidarity activities, with special emphasis on kids, youth and elderly
Volunteers will organize 5 Syncro workshops through 5 Mondays on the activity. These workshops will give the opportunity for local youth to get to know the volunteers and the countries they come from. The content of the workshops will be based on the topic of interculturality.
Apart from that volunteers will implement their individual personal projects – the personal project will be a part of this volunteers activity that will give a space for the volunteers to create something that they have
always wanted to do, something that is for free for the people participating in it and something that aims at improving the quality of lives in the local community. Syncro will give support to the volunteers by creating a frame for their actions, coaching them to express their ideas, agreeing on deadlines and next steps, but the content of these projects will be created by the volunteers themselves.
Participants from CYPRUS, FINLAND, LATVIA, BULGARIA, SLOVENIA, SWEDEN, AUSTRIA, GERMANY, HUNGARY AND SPAIN.
Accommodation, pocket and food money, transportation during the project health insurance is covered and provided and 360 EUR for the traveling cost.
